HorsesDaily HorseMarket - Farm Features: Hyperion Farm Inc - Breeding, Training and Showing Dutch Warmbloods (KWPN) For Dressage
Hyperion Farm, Inc. is a breeding and training facility that was started in 1995. They specialize in Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) horses for dressage and are members of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF), The United States Equestrian Federation™ (USEF), and the Dutch Warmblood Studbook in North America (KWPN of NA). Their mission is to promote the breeding of premium quality Dutch Warmblood horses for dressage. 2007 was a year of great victories including the success of Hyperion Farms' Sagacious HF. Ridden by Lauren Sammis the pair was reserve National Prix St Georges Champion, earning them a spot to ride for America at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio, where they won individual Silver and Team Gold. Sadly it was also the year where Judy Guden lost her long valiant and noble struggle with breast cancer. But her horses and the success of Sagacious HF brought her tremendous happiness up to the last moments of her life, and her memory lives on in the hearts of all those who loved her. Judy's friends continue to celebrate her life with a perpetual trophy at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby, and at the Challenge of the Americas, and annual event in Wellington to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. |
