Reining Featured on Next "America's Horse" Television - Visit

Amarillo, Texas - April 22, 2003 - Reining, the hottest equestrian sport in the world is on the April 30 episode of "America's Horse," American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Reining has been compared to figure-skating - each consists of elegant maneuvers and patterns. The United States Equestrian Team hosts its open reining competition from Equus America, a new type of horse fair held in Houston, Texas. An encore episode of this show is set for Sunday, April 27 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern followed by another episode of "America's Horse" at 3 p.m. Eastern. Viewers can catch the USET reining competition again on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The full hour of "America's Horse" on Wednesday, April 23 kicks off at 7 p.m. Eastern with an encore presentation of the women in ranching show followed by the USET reining event at 7:30 p.m. "America's Horse" continues its coverage of ranching legends with a special one-hour program featuring the historic King Ranch on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. Eastern. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
