Parker, Colorado…January 16, 2007 --- The Club at Pradera in Parker, Colorado, is hosting, We Believe in Cure. A Benefit for Benjamin Sanchez, Saturday, January 27th, from 6PM to10PM. The national equestrian community is showing their support and respect to a great man whose passion for horsemanship has earned a spot in the hearts of all who have met and worked with Benjamin Sanchez. Benjamin, 51, was diagnosed with esophageal cancer last month. Benjamin is Foreman for Serenity Farm, a hunter/jumper show barn in Elizabeth, Colorado. He is a proud U.S. Citizen and great contributor to his community. He has worked over 20 years in the United States with show horses to cultivate his version of the American Dream, the purchase of his first home last year for his family- wife, Isabelle and three children, in Elizabeth, Colorado. Esophageal cancer is a very difficult cancer to treat and will require a diligent cancer treatment program, including surgery. A fund has been established to help pay for Benjamin’s chemotherapy, radiation, related medication and pending surgery. “We were very distressed when we received the news of Benjamin’s cancer,” stated Cindy Cruciotti, owner of Serenity Farm. Benjamin is a tremendous asset to our operation and we are going to help him any way we can. We are so thankful to our friends, family and equestrian associates who have shown such support during this trying time.” The Club at Pradera was very pleased to offer its facilities for such a great cause. When we heard Benjamin’s story, we wanted to show our support as well,” said Brian Miller, Director of Food and Beverage for Pradera. We Believe in Cure.
