The
following qualifiers are now eligible to compete in the semi-finals
which will be held in conjunction with the NRHA Derby in OKC
this coming May. The top twenty riders from that event will
be invited to the Festival of Champions, Gladstone, NJ where
they will compete in the $100,000 Cosequin/USET Reining Championships
presented by Bayer!
1.Zans
Freckles Hickory, owner: Edward Krommer, Dry Ridge, KY,

Zans Freckles Hickory is a seven year old Quarter Horse stallion
by Doc's Hickory out of Miss Zan Freckles. He has two major
wins to his credit: the NRHA Opens at the 1996 All American
Quarter Horse Congress and NRHA Championships in OKC. Shawn
Flarida is a young trainer with credentials. He won the 1995
Congress Open Futurity and was the 1997 NRHA Novice Horse
Open World Champion. Shawn won the Congress NRHA Open in 1996
and 1998. He has several Open Futurity Championship wins to
his credit, including The Tradition.

of $119,000, Whizard Jac is NRHA's Leading Lifetime Money
Earner. Mike Flarida is a two time NRHA Futurity Open Division
Champion as well as Congress Futurity champion. Mike is also
a three time Reserve Congress Futurity Champion and two time
NRHA World Champion.

Horse stallion by Topsail Cody out of Freckles Prize. He is
a two time NRHA Non Pro World Champion. Shawn Flarida won
the 1995 Congress Open Futurity and in 1997 was the NRHA Novice
Horse Open World Champion. He won the Congress NRHA Open Championship
in 1996 and 1998. In 1996, Sahwn won the prestigious NRHA
Open in OKC and in 1998 earned the Traditions' Open Futurity
Championship title.

Trashadeous, a twelve year old Paint stallion by BH Enterprise
out of Miss White Trash, came out of retirement to qualify

on to win the NRHA Derby, Superstakes and the 1992 NRHA Open
World Championship title. Bill Horn is NRHA's first Million
Dollar Money Earner. He is a multiple NRHA Futurity, Derby
and Superstakes Champion and is a multiple NRHA Open World
Champion title holder. Both Bill Horn and Trashadeous have
already been inducted into NRHA's Hall of Fame.
