Great American Insurance Group Becomes NRCHA Corporate Partner

December 22, 2004 - The National Reined Cow Horse Association has announced that Great American Insurance Group will become the “Official Equine Insurer” of the NRCHA.

Carol Rose, NRCHA Sponsor Committee Chairman, commented, "Great American Insurance Group is one of the leading insurers of equines in the nation. Very reputable, their reputation of integrity, honesty and excellent service is well known throughout the industry and we’re thrilled to have them come on board as an NRCHA Corporate Partner. Great American Insurance Group and June Roberts McGee have been in the horse industry for many years and they offer a variety of options and services to better insure your horse.”

She added, “June Roberts McGee, an agent with Justin Insurance representing Great American Insurance Company, was instrumental in introducing Great American to the NRCHA. June brought Senior Divisional Vice President of Great American Equine Division Ken Standlee, from the main office in Ocala, Florida, to Texas to find out what reined cow horses were all about. Mr. Standlee was so impressed with the action and excitement of reined cow horses that the Corporate Partnership grew from there. Justin Insurance, headquartered in Justin, Texas, will represent Great American Insurance Group at NRCHA Sales and major events."

Rose noted that the new alliance is a great fit with the NRCHA. “They will be the official equine insurer of the association and on-hand at the NRCHA Events and Sales.”

Great American Insurance Company is the largest insurer of horses in the country with over 125 years of experience in the insurance industry. Great American Insurance Company supports the performance horse industry and its involvement with the NRCHA gives it another opportunity to reach its target market.

"We want to insure quality horses that are being ridden by knowledgeable horsemen," said June McGee. "You can't hold a cow or be competitive reining on a horse unless they are well cared for and those are the horses we want to insure." she continues "Our client and friend Carol Rose got us involved with the NRCHA and we share her enthusiasm for this rapidly growing event."
