2005 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity to Air on RFD-TV on Nutrena’s Horse Sense National Reined Cow Horse Association Sponsor Committee Chairman Carol Rose announced in July that the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity will be featured on RFD-TV on Nutrena’s Horse Sense program. According to Rose, the Snaffle Bit Futurity television commitment came after meetings with Barry Cooper, Nutrena Business Development Manager and members of the NRCHA Executive Committee that took place in June during the NRCHA Derby in Paso Robles, California. According to Rose, “As part of Nutrena’s 2006 Corporate Partnership, the Nutrena's Horse Sense program will feature the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity on RFD TV.” Barry Cooper noted that an entire half hour program will be devoted to the event. “Nutrena is excited about the opportunity to expose the RFD-TV viewers to the most exciting event on dirt. It’s a chance to show what the National Reined Cow Horse Association is, its history and tradition and to give a glimpse of just what an incredible show the Snaffle Bit Futurity is!” Rose said, “The NRCHA, thanks to the American Quarter Horse Association, is featured twice a year on AQHA’s America’s Horse. However, we have been actively searching for other nationwide television exposure for National Reined Cow Horse Association’s exciting events. Through our Corporate Partnership with Nutrena, and the support and hard work of Nutrena Brand Manager Altair Brondani and Business Development Managers Barry Cooper and Frank Cukjati, our dream for national TV exposure a program to be totally devoted to cow horses is becoming a reality.” Horse Sense airs each week on Tuesday at 8:30 pm on RFD-TV, as well as at three other time slots each week. The Snaffle Bit Futurity program will air in 2-3 weeks following the event – tentatively the end of October. Watch the TV Guide for listing or check the schedule at www.rfdtv.com.
