USA Equestrian Annouces Results of 2002 Pony Medal Championship

August 9, 2002 - Jamie Gibson, 14, of Ocala, Florida, was the Grand Champion in the 2002 Pony Medal Championship, held August 7, 2002 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The winner of the Pony Medal Championship receives the Easter Sunday Memorial Trophy donated by Ms. Catherine A. Kaiser and Ms. Jennifer T. Pesko, a tack trunk donated by Oakcroft, a Triple Crown Custom Cooler and a vest from Romhf Equestrian Apparel.

Competitors qualified to compete in this event by winning a blue ribbon or by accumulating 30 points in a USA Equestrian Pony Medal Class at a USA Equestrian sanctioned competition between July 2, 2001 and July 1, 2002.
