Monmouth County Horse Show Welcomes New Open Jumper Classic Sponsor US Mortgage Corporation

Wellington, FL– August 12, 2005 - The 110th Annual Monmouth County Horse Show and Ride for Riverview to benefit Riverview Medical Center is proud to welcome new sponsor US Mortgage Corporation. This year’s show gets underway on August 17th and runs through August 21st and will be held at East Freehold Park in Freehold, NJ. The $10,000 US Mortgage Open Jumper Welcome Stake will be the Friday feature at New Jersey’s longest running and most prestigious hunter and jumper horse show.

As principal owners and avid horse lovers, Michael and Susan McGrath introduced their young daughter Shannon to the equine world at the age of 6 years, when she first began to learn horse jumping. Shannon began serious training shortly thereafter, guided by experienced professionals such as former Olympian Peter Leone, and her current trainer, Ben Rosichan. In 2004, Shannon began a string of successes in the Children’s Jumper Division that have continued to the present, including: Champion, Hampton Classic; National Finals Champion, Marshall & Sterling Classic; Champion and Reserve Champion, Fairfield Hunt Club; Champion, Cosequin Finale, Wellington, Florida; Modified Junior Amateur Jumper Champion, HITS.

The $10,000 US Mortgage Open Jumper Welcome Stake is Friday’s featured event in the Grand Prix ring.
