Washington International Horse Show Offers Luxury Items in Silent Auction

Wellington, FL- October 6- The 2005 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) serves as one of the country’s most prestigious and competitive indoor equestrian events, with prominent riders, Olympic veterans, and superstar equines competing for top honors and fabulous prize money. Located at the MCI Center in downtown Washington D.C., this annual show offers a Silent Auction for those interested in bidding on magnificent items.

“This year, the Silent Auction will be better than ever,” commented Ericka Schaefer, Administrative Director of the WIHS. “We have great high quality items including a Hermes saddle, trips to Ireland and the Bahamas, bed and breakfast stays, even flat panel TVs! We are very excited to auction off such luxurious items.”

The Silent Auction will be held in the concourse by sections 114 and 115, near the VIP entrance. Bidding will close after Saturday night’s $100,000 President’s Cup Grand Prix sponsored by Salamander Hospitality, LLC of Middleburg, Virginia. Winners will be announced at the event’s conclusion.

Additional items in the Silent Auction range from artwork, to beauty treatments at spas, to celebrity signed merchandise. Extravagant dinners, clothing, furniture, jewelry, vacations, electronic entertainment centers, and trips to wineries are just a few of the items available for purchase.
