  • The Purebred Spanish Horses sector is integrated by 960 companies and studs in Spain
  • The average number of mares per stud is about 18
  • ANCCE represents 80% of breeders and studs in our country
  • There are 82.000 PRE in the world, 70.000 of which are in Spain. Andalucía is the region with 52% of the group, followed by Catalonia, Extremadura, Castilla-León and Castilla La Mancha
  • USA, México, Costa Rica, Germany and France are the countries with the next highest number of PRE outside Spain
  • The PRE sector employs directly and indirectly more than 16.000 people
  • The industry of Spanish Horse reaches € 900 millones of business income
  • The sector has increased by 104% and continues to grow.
